Sea Turtle View

Wyland showcases his command of bronze sculpture in “Sea Turtle View.” Here, three endangered sea turtles glide through a coral reef on a mysterious journey. Using unique patinas and a masterful use of perspective, Wyland brings viewers into the underwater world of these ancient mariners and invites us to follow along. “The lives of almost all sea turtles involves traveling long distances between their home beaches and their foraging grounds,” Wyland says. “Their fight for survival from the moment they are born constantly defies the odds – and this sculpture is my tribute to them.
