African Elephant

The African elephant is the world’s largest land animal and one of the most endangered. On our Safari in Kenya we encountered hundreds of these amazing giants. One day on our Safari, a giant bull came straight at our vehicle trumpeting and I knew this would be an iconic sculpture that I could create in bronze. The Safari for me as an artist changed the way that I looked at these amazing animals and what will inspire many paintings and sculptures for years to come.
